Dice onion and mince garlic. Wash mushrooms. Cube the chuck or stew meat Add to slow cooker, along with beef boullion cube, apple juice, 1 cup water, salt, pepper.
Cook for 8 hours on low. Stir in sour cream at the end, just before serving. Cook egg noodles alongside and serve. Amount of noodles may need modified. Recipe may require thickening using corn/potato starch.
